What a 90-day transformation actually contains
Ninety-day plans are catnip for boards because the number sounds like a quarter. Many of them contain kickoffs, “stakeholder alignments,” and a town hall. That is a communications plan. Delivery is something else: a named process with timestamps, a forum that met more than twice, and at least one piece of work that was formally stopped.
PageFlow Core will not staff a ninety-day plan that has no kill. If everything in the backlog is “priority,” you have a list, not a transformation. Our Operating Model Studio is twelve weeks because that is long enough to watch a forum fail and restage it, and short enough that a plant director can protect Friday mornings without inventing a new department.
A honest ninety days in Taiwan often includes a holiday cluster that vendors from other time zones treat as ordinary Tuesdays. Put those dates in the plan as blackouts, not as “flex.” If the only output by day 90 is a revised roadmap, you have spent a quarter on stationery.
